Read Write Tutors provide specialised literacy tutoring for students with learning differences, including dyslexia.
We work with students of all ages, P-12 and beyond.
Every session is individually crafted to meet the needs of each and every student.

How long is each session?
One on one tutoring sessions are 45 minutes each, usually once a week.
How much does each session cost?
- In-person: from $60 per hour to $90 per hour*
- Online: from $45 per hour*
- VAT: All fees include VAT @ 10%
* Rates vary based on the tutor’s experience and qualifications.
How long do we have to keep coming to tutoring for?
As every student is different, this will depend. The average time a student attends tutoring is between 6 months and a year.
How do you teach reading?
We use what is called a “speech to print” approach. This means that we move from spoken words to the written word.
Do you provide holiday tutoring?
Tutoring is term time only.
Do you have to do homework?
For some families, homework is a “bridge too far” and we understand that. However, homework is always provided and recommended for quicker results.
What happens if we miss a session?
If you are unable to do a session, we ask that you contact us as soon as possible so we can rearrange our time. If notice is not given within 12 hours of the scheduled session time, we reserve the right to charge a 25% cancellation fee.
